Message of thanks for our Food Services staff

A patient at Bankstown hospital has thanked our staff for their service during their stay.

Our Bankstown Food Services team have received a message of thanks from a patient during their recent stay in hospital.

The patient wrote a card thanking staff for their care during her stay, and particularly expressed that they wanted to “congratulate Bankstown Hospital’s kitchen staff”, writing that they received “excellent meals every day, served hot. Thank you so much.”

Jaikumar DavidThe Bankstown Hospital General Services manager passed on the card to Jaikumar David, Bankstown Food Services Site Manager, who shared it with his staff.

“The card means a great deal to our staff, who have done a great job during a very busy time of the year,” he said. “Hospital occupancy is full, and we’re incredibly busy, so it was lovely to receive the card.”

Zdenka Fuller, Associate Director, Food and Patient Support Services, praised the work of the team and thanked them for their work.

“Our Food Services staff work so hard behind the scenes to ensure the best possible patient experience. We know how important food is to patient care, so I can’t thank the team enough,” said Zdenka.

Jaikumar had nothing but praise for his team.

“Our team try our best to deliver meals with a smile every day, to help patients recover and get healthy. It makes all of us proud when we receive appreciation for the service we provide.”

Congratulations to the Bankstown Food Services team and thank you for your hard work.
