We are the largest single supplier of hospital linen in Australia, trusted by hospitals across NSW. We provide over 87 million items of fresh, clinically safe linen (including bed sheets, gowns, towels, blankets, pillowcases, and scrubs) every year to NSW public hospitals.
Our purpose is to make sure clean, reliable linen is always where it needs to be, so clinicians can focus on care, and patients can focus on recovery.
Our 800 staff work around the clock to keep hospital wards and surgical theatres stocked, ensuring there’s never an interruption to patient care.
Here’s how our Linen Services make a difference across NSW public hospitals.
We’re proud to lead the way in sustainability – smarter laundries, greener future.

Shifting to renewable energy – all linen providers rely on gas, but as the largest in NSW Government, we’re taking the first step to lead the way forward

Solar power at our Tamworth site is reducing non-renewable energy consumption by 55%, with more sites to follow

Plastic-free bundles have saved 2.7 million metres of plastic from landfill

Our Core Generator Plant halved our Parramatta energy bill, saving 205 million litres of water per year, and cutting emissions by 22,600 tonnes

Patented filtration technology removes all detectable microplastics and 80% of other suspended solids

Helping communities, reducing waste – retired linen donated to communities in need overseas, keeping it from landfill
To keep our people safe and services running smoothly, here are some helpful reminders for NSW Health staff:
Must not exceed 10kg when dry – wet linen weighs more and poses a safety risk to anyone who needs to lift it
Check for sharps such as needles before placing soiled linen in bags
Should be unpacked, returned to loading docks, and never used for long-term storage
Move them to the loading dock – our drivers will collect, repair, and return them
These small steps make a big difference, helping us keep hospitals stocked and staff safe, so patients always have the linen they need.

Each year, we find hundreds of personal items hidden in returned linen bundles – from children’s toys and keepsakes to phones, wallets, keys and jewellery. If you’ve lost something of value, our team may be able to help.

We know that in the joy and excitement of going home, it’s easy to accidentally keep one of our baby blankets or other linen. These blankets are part of many families’ first memories – but they’re also vital to support other newborns and patients across NSW.
By returning them, you’ve helping us keep patients safe, cared for, and comfortable.
To return a blanket or any of our linen, please call Customer Service on 1300 477 546 or email HSNSW-LinenCustomerService@health.nsw.gov.au.
