Employee and Financial Shared Services
Employee and Financial Shared Services provides financial management, payroll, and payment processing services for NSW health. This includes salary payments for 170,000+ employees, as well as collecting payments on behalf of health entities.
The Employee & Financial Shared Services team comprises of the following teams:
Financial Shared Services
We process financial transactions on behalf of NSW Health. This includes services such as invoicing (accounts payable), payments (accounts receivable), financial accounting, procurement card, travel card and virtual card management and vendor/supplier masterfile maintenance.
Employee and Payroll Services
We manage the largest payroll in the Southern Hemisphere. We process the pay and personnel information for over 170,000 NSW Health employees. This includes distributing salaries, processing of leave and separations, employee/employment changes and bulk recruitment services supporting the bulk recruitment campaign. We ensure compliance with awards, legislation, tax regulations and accurate payment to NSW Health employees.
Strategy Implementation
We implement and embed NSW Health and HealthShare NSW strategies across Employee and Financial Shared Services. Working closely with the operational teams and Business Partners, to plan, action and implement frameworks and system and process improvements, to ensure the best outcomes for our people and our partners.
