A new award category is set to highlight diversity excellence, as nominations open for this year’s Chief Executive (CE) Awards.

Focus on people

“Now more than ever, it’s important we take time to reflect on our achievements and celebrate the incredible hard work and commitment of our people,” said Carmen Rechbauer, Chief Executive, HealthShare NSW.

“2022 has again seen our people go to extraordinary efforts to support patients in every corner of the state in the face of unforeseen and unique challenges.

“I’m excited to see what nominations we receive and have no doubt we have many remarkable individuals and teams to celebrate.”

Nominations video – what you need to know

Nine award categories for individuals and teams aim to recognise and celebrate the people who make HealthShare NSW the largest public sector shared services provider in Australia.

Award categories open for individual nominations include Leadership, Diversity (new), Citizenship, Resilience and Partnering for patients. Award categories open for team nominations include Collaboration, Resilience, Sustainability and Partnering for patients.

Staff are being urged to take the time to consider the work they and their teams are doing to identify projects and people who deserve special recognition.

Entries open – Monday 31 October 2022

Entries close – Friday 18 November 2022

Finalists announced – early December 2022

Winners will be announced at the HealthShare NSW CE Awards ceremony which will be held in Sydney, February 2023.
