This year has been incredibly tough on everyone, particularly those working on the frontline of our healthcare system to ensure that key services can still be delivered.

In November we celebrated World Kindness Day to extend our gratitude to our frontline workers who have made such a difference to the lives of others in 2020. Our frontline services make up 80% of the HealthShare NSW workforce and play a critical role in providing excellent patient care in our hospitals.

To say thank you, the family and friends of our HealthShare NSW community drew pictures and wrote messages of thanks to World Kindness Day: thanking our frontline staff our frontline workers. “Everyone at HealthShare NSW has played a huge role in helping to keep our health system operating through such difficult times,” said Carmen Rechbauer, Chief Executive.

“As we celebrate World Kindness Day, I’d like to say a personal thank you to everyone for their continued hard work, which makes a big difference in the lives of our patients, customers and community.”

To our frontline workers in Patient Transport, Linen, Food and Patient Support Services, Make Ready Service and all other areas, thank you.
