Our diverse range of roles and opportunities all contribute to our purpose: supporting the NSW Health system to focus on what matters most - delivering exceptional care to patients.

Whatever path you choose, your work will be fulfilling and make a meaningful impact. Here's a snapshot of just some of the opportunities you'll find across our organisation.

Programs that build careers

Public Service Commission Graduate Program

Through the Public Service Commission (PSC) Graduate Programopen_in_new, graduates have the opportunity to work with us for 12 months across different business lines. You'll take ownership of meaningful projects aligned to your career aspirations, work alongside senior leaders and executives, and attend networking events – building skills and connections for a dynamic career.

Intern Program

Our internship program runs annually and gives university and TAFE students the chance to gain 12 months of valuable experience within the NSW Government – all while completing their studies. We also offer tailored intern positions for students with disability and for students from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds.

Aboriginal Development Program

Our Jobs to Careers: Aboriginal Development Program gives Aboriginal staff the opportunity to build their skills and access a range of professional development opportunities. We also offer an Aboriginal Leadership Program, providing a 12-month hands-on leadership experience across different departments to strengthen leadership skills and organisational knowledge.

High School Student Placement

We collaborate with local high schools and placement providers to support students completing their Hospitality TVET course. Through our Food Services team, students can gain hands-on experience and fulfill their mandatory one-week onsite placement.
