DeliverEASE is a program to improve the ordering, supply, delivery and storage of medical consumables for clinical areas of our hospitals. The overall aim is to improve availability and visibility of these items, returning time for patient care.

“Rolling out DeliverEASE with more wards across POWH has given us the opportunity to gather even more feedback from frontline staff and further refine the solutions around ordering, receiving, monitoring and improving stock levels,” said Sharen Ozcan, Associate Director, Supply Chain Operations, Procurement.

“At the same time, we are considering how best to apply and implement these solutions across a greater number of sites. Word has also been spreading, with interest in the program already received from several other Local Health Districts keen to be involved.”

An update on future rollout plans is expected early in the new financial year.
